The Adafruit LM66200 Ideal Dual Diode Breakout offers an effective solution for dual power systems, with back-voltage protection, two 'ideal' diodes at 40 milliohms RdsOn, 2.5A continuous current support, and a separate enable input and status output.
This LM66200 breakout board provides an easy-to-use solution and eliminates the need for complex DIY circuitry with multiple transistors. 2~5V power supplies can be connected to Vin1 and Vin2, with the higher source being outputted at Vout. The output can be completely disabled by raising the On/Enable pin. The Status pin can also be used to determine which of the two supplies is chosen.
To make it bread-board friendly, we've placed it on a small PCB with 6 x 0.1" breakout pads. The chip and a 1 Megaohm enable-pulldown is soldered on top. We include a bit of header, some light soldering is required to attach the header - or use free wiring if you want to insert it directly into a circuit.

Receipt of deliveries
Deliveries to post office boxes are not permitted where delivery is by courier. If delivery is by courier and nobody is available at the delivery address to accept delivery when delivery is attempted then the courier may either:
- leave the relevant parcel at the unattended address (the courier will do so if specified in your delivery requirements); or
- re-attempt delivery at a later time or date, in which case we may charge you an additional re-delivery fee.
