After a delivery hiccup which was a fault with TNT and not the vendor I was able to get the Laserbox installed on the purpose built bench in my shed on Friday. This is a personal purchase but I have experience with the same unit at school.Setup was fairly easy but took a little more time that I expected. I had to wait till it was on the bench before determining the location to drill holes for the ventilation hose and filter connection cable with the circular saw. I mounted the filter on a shelf under the bench. Hint, watch the unpacking/install video on the Makeblock website to help wth the procedure for connecting the exhaust pipes with the clamps to the unit and filter box.The Laserbox connected with the computer easily via usb (older iMac - which I will use as the main control computer) and ethernet (MacBook air) and was doing it’s first cut / engrave on the supplied basswood within 5 minutes of first being turned on. After the first few cuts I did a firmware update which took about 10 minutes. Have been very impressed with the ease of use, the speed and quality of work done so far.The unit is very well made and the design is quite stylish. Been making name puzzles, a variety of boxes, Christmas ornaments, toys and games over the weekend.The software is quite versatile and easy to use. I have been able to quickly adapt a few laser cutting files downloaded off the Etsy site in the software as well.Very pleased with this purchase.

Receipt of deliveries
Deliveries to post office boxes are not permitted where delivery is by courier. If delivery is by courier and nobody is available at the delivery address to accept delivery when delivery is attempted then the courier may either:
